Xmas Comic Part 1
Catching up on a few Christmas-related comics before the year ends! Here's part 1, based on an actual dream I had after Christmas dinner at G's parents' place...

Unh
Sorry for the lack of updates -- I was in the boonies for a workshop with the uni last week and hadn't checked the internets for a whole week...and now I'm in Bremen with G's parents for the holidays. Have a wonderful Christmas everyone!

Boah Ey
"Boah (ey)!" is the "Whoa!" or "Wow!" equivalent in German. I've caught myself saying it to non-German speakers many times this year ... I guess that might have been slightly weird.

Rice-ist
Featuring our friends Annett and Adam. Speaking of Adam, his new book Make Me German is coming out in January (and we're in it! kinda!)! If How To Be German and Denglisch for Better Knowers are anything to go by, it's going to be hilarious ... so go pre-order your copy!

Portrait Doodles
Thanks everyone who kept their fingers crossed for G! He did very well on Wednesday and is now happily (f)unemployed. :)
And now for something completely different -- some random portrait doodles of a few of my awesome classmates.

Can I Have My Clothes Back
Not a proper comic, but a doodle I made for class today. Apparently Victor Hugo would write in nude and have his valet hide his clothes so that he couldn't leave the house until he was finished writing for the day.

Butt Bug
So sorry for the lack of comics in the last few weeks! I was traveling around with G in Tanzania (was awesome!) and got back just this week. G is back for good (for now) in Berlin and we're settling into our normal life again, so check back for more regular updates!

Pixelated Image
He was probably confused by the pixelated Skype video, but still.
Hi from Hakodate! Sorry for the crappy quality -- the lighting was bad in the room I'm staying in. But yes. Will post Hakodate comics soon!

Temperature Difference
It's cold up here in Hokkaido in the winter, but I'm seriously glad I don't have to be sweating like a pig in the sweltering heat in Tokyo right now.

I tried to do more comics while flying from Berlin to Japan but I got too tired. But here's one I did early in the morning at Schönefeld Airport!

Caring
It's something I constantly struggle with -- this caring too much about what other people think. It gets better with age, but I still have a long way to go before I can say "Screw this, I do what I want!"
