My list of newly-acquired German vocabulary consists of Schülerlotse, Schokoladenonkel, and Bommel. I guess that's a pretty successful week of learning.

I'm not sure why, but I really like the second panel. Something to do with G's subtle facial expression. Maybe he just looks like a knowledgeable and patient teacher?
For sure; and Norwegian and German are rather similar, aren't they? (says G...or at least he says Germans have an advantage when learning Norwegian because of the similarities) And thank you! :) I like G's expression there too. He's knowledgeable and patient indeed! (and I'm hasty and impatient)
