I'm 6' 2" tall and I help "vertically challenged" people on a regular basis, getting items off of top shelves, off the top of a car, etc. I always ask if they need help prior to assisting as I don't want them to think I'm butting in. It helps me feel a bit more useful around others, and that "thank you" feels good.
G is also as tall as you, which means he's my go-to guy for getting everything from the top shelves, etc. The funny thing about this guy in the comic was that he wasn't THAT much taller than me (I'm about 5'4"), but he was superfriendly and helpful. Definitely made my day! :)
