And here is a great TED Talks video about trying something new for 30 days to get you motivated.
Also, Adam is the author of some hilarious articles (like the awesome "How to Be German")and the owner of a rad little site called The Hipstery. Go read his articles and buy his stuff!
the article is indeed hilarious! do you know the ich werde ein berliner blog? it´s over now, but it was quite similar in tone to your friend´s article
ReplyDeleteNo, I didn't know the blog, thanks for letting me know! I looked it up and will definitely be reading it soon. Seems she also has a book...looks cool! Adam is also going to come out with a book this summer...exciting!
DeleteLove TED videos! So nice of the organisation to share the videos with the public. The best part of the whole thing is that the speakers aren't afraid of sharing not their success but their failure and what they learnt.
ReplyDeleteI love them too! They're all so inspiring and there are so many of them....! :D
DeleteFinding an official excuse to save money or to diet is not 'trying something new'! XD
ReplyDelete...Your parents use the DS??
That's true, not really anything new...but hey! I'm saving moneys!
DeleteAnd no, my mom just gave me her DS because she never uses it (and I sold mine) but mistakenly took the charger with her, I think. Ah well. We've still got G's iPhone!
