Paprika Racism

I am all for bell pepper equality.

  1. Ah, green peppers are like the unloved step-sister in the capsicum family. Ill-reputed, but good at heart. Great observation (and depiction) of situational comedy.

PS. Really like your comics and am amazed that you update so regularly - fantastic work!

    1. Thanks very much Joa! Unloved step-sister, eh? Well said! I personally really like the bitter green bell pepper taste, but my friends clearly don't! And ironically they're both vegetarians...not that that implies that they should like ALL vegetables, but still!

  2. I like all bell peppers, but do agree that the red and yellow peppers are sweeter and a bit more tender. Plus, around here, green bell peppers do sell for less than the red and yellow ones.

    1. Me too! And whaat, no way! At many of the supermarkets around here they tend to send them in a 3-pepper-pack of green, red, and yellow for a price, and so my friends were complaining that they always have to buy the green one even if they don't want to.

  3. But...green peppers are much stronger tasting than red, yellow and orange ones? D: Though less sweet, I guess.

    1. I think I actually prefer the green to the red/yellow/orange. I guess I should just make a deal with my friends to swap peppers.
