I've done jogged back home from school and work a few times now, and I've found that it's a handy way to squeeze a run into a busy schedule. It does have its disadvantages (traffic lights, occasionally running through crowded areas etc.), but so far it's been great.
What a great way to finish the day! I am envious.
ReplyDeleteI really can't bring myself to go running (or leave the house period) AFTER I come home and sit down with a tea, so this is a good way to MAKE myself go jogging. It sure beats commuting home on the crowded subway! :)
DeleteI wish I had this courage!
ReplyDeleteYou could do it tooo! I'm really lucky though because my school and work are only about 10km and 7km away from home...so it's the perfect distance!
DeleteAll is in your mind! Once you start running or cycling you realize that are great activities and less painful that you thought at first!
DeleteMaaaaaan so motivated! I kinda considered it too, but in the morning is not an option because you'll get all sweaty... and I'm usually too hungry in the afternoon. Hmm, maybe after a big lunch? I kinda want to now!
ReplyDeleteYeah, definitely not an option in the morning because of the sweatiness...unless you could shower at work? (That would be supernice!) I usually eat a late-ish lunch and then run maybe 3 or 4 hours after I've eaten! I haven't done it in a long while now though...!
