Tarako doodles

For some reason I'm veeery sleepy today so I'm going to cheat and update some silly doodles I drew last week.



This drawing of G and me is inspired by this awesome Japanese commercial of a cod roe (tarako) spaghetti sauce from the company Kewpie.

    oh i like mentaiko but not on its own (tried that and it was a bad idea). i wonder how different it tastes from tarako.

      Mentaiko is just tarako with chili! I think raw tarako/mentaiko on its own might not be for everybody, but you might like yaki-tarako/mentaiko, which is grilled tarako! Yum!
