Beer shampoo is perfectly normal, but I know a bunch of people who liked to use actual beer... Though obviously everyone else thought they were crazy to do so, why waste a beer you could be drinking on your hair, lol.
Seriously? Well, G's shampoo sure looked normal. I didn't notice it had beer in it until I looked really closely. But what? REAL BEER for your hair? I guess if it's really bad beer....but I'm also not so keen on smelling like beer..do they rinse it out and condition it, or just rinse it out and that's it? Fascinating stuff!
I had a beer shampoo once, but even as shampoo, the smell was a bit too obvious for me, haha. They basically used beer as a rinse, I think mixed with a bit of water. Poured over head and done. Obviously they did not mind the smell, because it lingers for quite a while. I think it's supposed to help strengthen the hair and make it more shiny? - Kerstin

I don't think I've ever seen a beer shampoo, let alone use one. I did find a recipe on wikiHow. Says it's good for dandruff. hmm...
