That's so cool! I've bought almost all of their albums, and I've seen them in concert twice! There are a lot of avid fans in Norway, as the band became somewhat of a phenomenon in the early 2000s. Sadly, they said just last year that they are going to take a long break.
That aside, I bet you can find fan-translated lyrics of their songs in an assortment of languages... :)
I actually thought about you because...well, you're Norwegian! I also read about the break and was toootally bummed. And G says they used to do gigs in Berlin...BOOO. He also says the singer's accent is regional and very interesting. :) In any case, I'll just have to catch up on all their music!
Wow! There's all kinds of their stuff on itunes. Time to surf around. Thanks "G".
ReplyDeleteThat is a haunting song. Don't know if he deserted or was shot. I bought the album "170" came off of on itunes. Very cool. Thanks again.
ReplyDeleteAhh! I'm glad you enjoy them as well Big Mike! It usually takes me a while to get into a band, but the Kaizers Orchestra really just hit the spot!
