  1. Ohhh. Not nice. Yet, maybe in hindsight this is revealed as a good turn of events because your next job is so amazing you'll wish you'd started earlier. Success.

    1. Wait, I didn't know there was a difference! I actually had to google that. So if it's because of downsizing, etc. it's let go? Then I was let go. But I still feel sad! Well, FELT sad. I don't feel sad anymore, I feel awesome! And thanks!

  6. Well you know I've followed you for years, oh awesome one, and I just KNEW you weren't actually FIRED. Unless you worked for a person who is actually insane.
Time, me thinks, to begin something that will one day make you say "that felt bad but actually.. I'm so glad I got fired or I wouldn't be doing THIS!" Do a big SMILE please. :-)

  7. It must be a huge thing for you. As far as you are Japanese, that feeling must me terrible. If I'm not wrong, the Japanese had an idiom called "getting cut in the neck" meaning "to be fired". Don't worry, life isn't as cruel as your Asian ancestors. Here in this blog, several people from several cultures believe in you and your skills, and we know you're gonna get up again. Can not find a better consensus I guess, hee hee. Ganbare yo, Nozomi-san.

    1. Well, it was shitty but I didn't feel as bad as it was for financial reasons and not for personal reasons (even if it weren't true, that's what they said...!). But still not nice, I guess! I've found a new means of funding my studies now though, so it's all good! :)
