You are not alone. My bride calls me "stumpy" when she catches me chewing them. I actually cut off a fingertip back in the nineties, and I still chew on the nailless tip as well. Please don't barf.
I literally laughed out loud at the nailless finger! That sounds painful though (the cutting it off part). Yeah, I probably would nibble on that finger too. Trust me, my fingers look disgusting right now (I go through very extreme phases)...I have no right to say anything about anyone else's nail-chewing habit. Glad to hear I'm not alone!
