Sloth Hug

Groggy morning non-proper-comic update.

I've never hugged a sloth, but I imagine that there's no sad feeling in the world that can't be assuaged with a good, slow sloth hug.
I dream of sloth hugs.

  1. The baby sloth hugging the hand... you must've seen that one (if not, just Google it). :3 Once saw a documentary of (rip) Steve Irwin, how he moved the animals in his zoo to other cages. Most of them had to be caught as expected, but the koalas apparently hold on tightly to whatever they can reach. So he pulled on this koala that didn't want to let go of a tree... and when he succeeded, the koala turned round and held on to him. PLOP! He walked out with his hands on his sides, koala stuck to him. Job done.

  2. I'm not sure, but I think I might have seen every single sloth video ever uploaded on the web. Well, that's a lie, but I've seen quite a few, and every one of them makes me squee! That's so cute with the koala. I wouldn't mind having a sloth or a koala or a wombat or a bear cat cling onto me forever. Well. You know what I mean. Man, I wish I had Discovery Channel again...

  5. It's true...they do look superlong and a bit scary. I think most things actually SOUND better than they actually would...but I'd still like a sloth hug!

  6. When cornered, both sloths and brazilian ateaters will drop on their backs, exposing their bellies in a seemingly surrendering act. In fact, they're reading the big guns: their nails. They grab their attacker in a strong wild embrace, the goal being to pierce its lungs with their strong nails.
    Happy dreams. =)

  7. Aww, just as you were reaching out for a nice, cuddly sloth hug . . . DEATH BY SLOTH NAIL IN LUNG! I'll keep that in mind when I run into a cornered sloth. :P
