This will show my age...When I was young, we would get dressed up just to go shopping. We had school clothes we weren't allowed to play in. Now folks come to funerals in t-shirts. It was cool getting dressed up like that. I do miss those days sometimes.
G's mom said the same thing! I do like casual and comfortable clothes but wearing t-shirts to funerals is pretty inappropriate, I think. And the whole ritual and process of "dressing up" for something is great...it makes whatever you're dressing up for--shopping, school, whatever--a little bit special!
