That would never happen in the US!!!
Can you imagine? You'd probably get arrested for it...!
dafuq??? Seriously?Gosh, I would never ever ever feel comfortable with that. If I see a baby "abandoned" in front of a stored I would take it to the police station O_O(And probably someone would charge me with kidnapping.....)
Yeah...I was all like...holy crap! and started looking around for the mom. And then of course my friend reassured me that this was normal. haha
Wow, that is wo weird!!! But yesss I saw it once on the TV and it seems to be pretty normal around there ;) Don't know if I would be able to do it hehehe! Have a nice trip you two :D (K)
You saw it on TV? Funny, eh!
"Someone forgot their baby!" ... Nice reaction =) I'm also curious as to what Scandinavian country you were visiting at the time... I've seen this situation a few times in Norway too. It usually involves the parents sitting in a café, really close to the window so that they can keep an eye on the stroller.
We were in Denmark, in the city centre of Copenhagen. And yeah, my friend told me that too, that moms leave their baby buggy outside the cafe while they sit for a coffee. It's unimaginable in Japan or Germany or other places I've lived, but it's amazing that this is possible! Hooray!
