Hahahaha! I'm totally like G... When my girlfriend and I walk around in the city or go for a hike, I always stop to take pictures of cats or other random animals/things of interest. I try to not stop for long though... Nonetheless, I've racked up a lot of photos of random cats.
Nice! Although I have to say I have a soft spot for cats so I take a lot of photos of random cats....but squirrels! I guess there aren't that many in Germany so they're kind of exotic, but there are just too many cheeky, evil squirrels in North America. They're also GIANT and black and scary in Toronto (kind of like big rats with fluffy tails), which makes them doubly unlovable. eep!
G is obviously not aware of how vicious the common grey squirrel can be. A pack of them once tried to kidnap my oblivious parents for a ransom of pringles and pretzels (which seems to be their diet in Greenwich park).
VICIOUS is the right word for those damn North American squirrels. I know people who've had squirrels sneak into their rooms and make a huge mess and whatnot. And your poor parents! Their cute squirreliness is deceiving...
Yeah, I think I read something about that in high school biology class. And when you say "they killed the red ones," I can only imagine a huge epic squirrel war between the grey ones and red ones...though I guess that's not how it happened exactly...

DeleteHahaha so cute! I was also squealing at the grey squirrels I saw in the UK, but apparently they kill the red ones... o_O
