No, no... people touch things to check whether they are for real. If I meet Nelson Mandela or Pamela Anderson's boobs on the street, I would feel compelled to touch them too.
Hahahahaha love the reaction of the statue when touched, and your rage. XD
I: Yeah, you're right; that does make sense. Pamela Anderson's boobs are quite compelling, though possibly not real... (I know, I know! That wasn't the point you were making..!)T: I once saw a guy touching "The Coronation of Napoleon" painting by David at the Versailles and I was too shocked for words. I just stood there dumbfounded, but this is what I might have done to him. You can't UNTOUCH those things! GAH!
ha ha i love touching things! i always feel the need to touch sculptures. i'll make a note never to go to a gallery with you
My dad is a sucker for touching paintings. when he came for a visit, I had to slap his hand constantly.
M: It depends on the artwork! Some of the stuff like outdoor sculptures are fine (I mean, it gets rained on and stuff anyway, right?) I think, but paintings are probably a no-no. In any case, if you're going to do it, do it when I'm not looking! C: The image of you constantly slapping your dad's hand...and then your dad sneakily trying to touch paintings when you've turned your back. HAHA
worse to watch than a three year old! the worst one for this was the national galery. still reeling from that one!
