Linguistic Revelation

  1. true! It's a mess when I meet friends at once though, who only speak one language, and it's a a different one each. so to A i speak Italian, to B English, and to C German. After a while I always get confused and adress them in the wrong languages. huh!

  2. HA! That's crazy! I sometimes find it hard to switch from speaking one language to another quickly. That's probably why I'm so scared to do interpretation work . . .

And that's so cool that you speak Italian! I took Italian for a year in uni, but the class was at 9am sooo...yeah. Needless to say, I didn't learn a whole lot. :P

  3. have you ever woken up and not know which language you are supposed to speak? I've done that a couple of times...

  4. I don't know if I've ever done that, but I think your language situation is pretty diverse and extreme....!

  5. I used to live in Italy for a while, as I had this idiotically romantic idea of doing a degree there. needless to say that degree never materialised. but i certainly learned a lot of life lessons, ha!

  6. Aw, come on, that's not idiotically romantic . . . ! Sounds like it was a good time. Or at least an interesting one. :)
