Squirrels are complicated

Why's it so impossible to pronounce in every single language (except for Japanese)? Is it as weird-sounding in other languages too?

  1. In portuguese we say "esquilo". I guess is pretty easy... maybe you just learned exactly the most difficult languages to say it. Except japanese.

  2. In spanish that would be ardilla, not to hard I would say ;) but I like risu better!!! Big kiss (K)

  3. Priscila: Esquilo is definitely easier than any of those three! Yeah, I think you're right. I picked all the wrong languages! (Though "squirrel" doesn't come up much in everyday conversations, thankfully!)

K: Ardilla is also not bad, eh! I think risu is also kinda cute. :) HUGS!

  4. In Norwegian, the word for squirrel is "ekorn" (two syllables, pronounced kind of like ekk-orn). It's naturally related to German... But a bit simpler :)
