Waah, how did time go by so quickly? The combination of starting a new job in the beginning of June (yay!), the semester project deadline stress toward mid July (nay!), endless stream of guests and G's birthday resulted in the longest hiatus in the history of Bring Me Bonsai -- nearly 3 months! I'm sorry for keeping you in the dark about my whereabouts and for the lack of updates...I should have at least posted that I'll be taking some time off! But yes, I'm doing well, G's doing well; if there's one thing we can brag about, it's our immune systems of steel.
At
the moment, I'm not entirely sure where I want to go with this blog. I
don't know if I will keep drawing the same kind of comics in the same
style or try something entirely new, but I guess I'll keep my options
open for now.
Anyway, as part of our semester project at uni I did an illustrated reportage about Japanese people working in Berlin. Here's a little peek at one of the illustrations for the booklet!
See you soon!
Nozomi
good to hear from you again. keep us updated :)
ReplyDeleteWelcome back. Glad to hear you are breathing with the same vigor. I missed the bits and pieces of your world. Let us know next time you will be on a "walk a bout". See you soon...hopefully.
ReplyDeleteAhhhh I missed your updates, but it's okay. I'm glad you're working hard at your job and uni!
ReplyDelete...And here I was all "Argh I can't believe I haven't been reading and commenting for 3 months, wonder what she's been up to lately..."...HA! I feel less bad now. Sounds like you had a couple of very big changes to get used to recently! Hope to see BMB return at some point, but take your time. Best of luck to you and G! Keep taking them vitamins! It'll be autumn soon. Too soon. ._.
ReplyDeleteJEEZ! At least say "Hi" won'cha? It's been a while. Oh yeah, hi.
ReplyDeleteAuf Wiedersehen. I have enjoyed your humor and the occasional German lessons.
