I couldn't think of anyone who would want to go see the new Beauty and the Beast with me, so I went to the cinema alone for the first time in ... possibly ten years! It was a wonderfully awkward and entertaining experience.
I don't usually have this problem in an empty theater. I just "Marquette" them and they walk away. Oh,"Marquette or Marquette Stare" is a truly sinister look from an especially intimidating prisoner. I retired from the Michigan Department of Corrections and I can tell you this is a most rude look. Like I say, it works for me.
