Carbonara

If breakfast burritos exist, we should also be allowed to have a breakfast pasta!

Breakfast?

So many people at my school know how to knit, and I kind of feel uncool for being absolutely clueless.

You can take an Asian girl out of Asia...

In some regards, I'm just Asian through and through.

Aaaaand. It's still not too late! If you're in Berlin tonight, don't miss the chance to hang out with the amazingly talented (and supercuddly/friendly!) Dirk Verschure of Dirk's Big Bunny Blog and other cool cats of the Cheese Mountain Tragedy at the Book Release Party of Dirk's Big Bunny Book! Not only that, local brewery Vagabung Brauerei will also be debuting their superstrong Caffeinated Stout made from espresso prepared by Josh Bauman of Caffeinated Toothpaste. G and I will be there too, so be there or be square!

Greasy Spoon

Greasy spoon diner breakfast in Brooklyn before flying out this afternoon. The portions were ginormous and G and I might have to be rolled onto the plane. oof.

Egglham

I love all things post-related . . . stamps, postcards, addresses, whatever. I once had a friend who lived on Tinkerbell Street or Avenue somewhere in the states.

FYI, Egglham is near the Austrian border, somewhere between Regensburg and Salzburg.

Happy Belated Canada Day!

I know I'm a day late, but it's never too late to express my love for my second (third?) home, Toronto, where the people are friendly and the Chinatown is amazing.

Aaaand. Awesome breakfast this morning courtesy of G. First time in a while that we've had actual breakfast-y food for breakfast! (ie. We had homemade burgers for breakfast last week and fried rice before that...)

Quark+yogurt with Johannisbeeren and blueberries.
Leftover potato gratin thingie from last night.
Mango.
