  1. ;) Things are hectic sometimes in a while, but what you say is soooo right. We do it because we want to :D Was nice seeing you! (K)

  2. Aww I love the one where you're telling yourself that it's what you want.

being super busy, too at the moment, constantly ending up mixing languages and babbling japanese words I learned in my class. people around me start thinking I am going mad, but it work a treat on public transport, when you want your row of seats for yourself.

  3. K: Yes. I'll have my entire rest of my life to have a 9-5 job (if I wanted!) but I can only apply to go back to school NOW. I guess I just have to keep reminding myself what I'm actually doing it for . . .
It was great to see you too! We need to do it more often...see you again very soon!

C: Thanks! You sound pretty darn busy yourself...and what? You're learning Japanese? No way! Since when, and what got you into it?
I'm off to bed too. Oyasumi!

  4. Yeah the last panel is so cute! I completely agree with Charlotte.
I've had a 9-5 job for the past 5 years now and it's quite okay, but... not when you have to commute long (ever since our office moved). And if you're keen on cooking, you only have 2 hours of evening left which can be draining--but you would have G! XD I agree with the 9-3 thing though. Had a 7-3 job once, it was a-ma-zing. Especially in summer.

  5. I always wanted to learn japanese, so now that Uni has finished and I got a job that finishes in the afternoon, I decided to take an evening class.

    I only just started though.

eiga festival nanji kara nanji made desu ka?

  6. T: Thanks! And wow, 5 years is a long time. I always wonder how my dad's managed to do it for decades now. Jesus. I guess it definitely does come down to how long you have to commute, eh. (I mean, aside from the job itself.) 7-3 sounds amazing in the summer...! All that free SUN time!! This would be ideal in theory, except I'm SO not a morning person. I had a 8-4 job once and I stopped wearing make up from day 2, even though I lived 15 minutes away by bike..! I'm pathetic. I know.

C: That's awesome! Eigasai (sai = festival) no jikan wa kimatte imasen (kimaru = to set, decided...kimatte imasen = not set). Watashi wa ie kara shigoto wo shite imasu!
