Childhood memories are weird like that. Like when I was about 5 or 6 I lived a couple blocks from school so I walked by myself most of the time. One day my dad offered me a ride and I turned him down cause I wanted to walk. I felt so wracked with guilt over it until I was into my 20's! Even a little now! I have no idea why!
Hahaha. I think this has made me paranoid to this day about being polite. and thanks! I was pleasantly surprised by it too! (I was actually trying to save some time...hah!)

ReplyDeleteIt's strange, isn't it, and many of these memories are about the smallest things! It kind of feels good to draw a comic about it...so therapeutic!
DeleteWe all have memories like this. Things we did or didn't do, for a reason or no reason, that bug us for no real reason. Just remember it.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I guess they get ingrained in our mind for a reason, eh. It's nice to know we all have these thoughts! :)
Deleteis that potato print?? :P
ReplyDeleteit's a soft rubber block; I think it's called softoleum. Really nice and easy to carve!
DeleteHm, I would have done something like that to this day. Socially awkward, always.
