The Germans of Asia and the Japanese of Europe



Today also happens to be my mom's birthday. Happy Birthday Mama!

    1. It's true! Garlic is delish! And G puts copious amounts of it in everything, but there are hardly any German/Japanese dishes that traditionally call for garlic. Weird!

  3. @Alex it' good for you but not indigenous to our countries, so that's why you won't find it in traditional cooking. It's quite popular now though after it's been imported.

    1. I'm glad you agree! I mean, there are definitely exceptions to the rule...but I'm pretty sure my German and Japanese friends are generally more punctual than the others!!
