Sometimes, I practice my rusty French in the rain.

Can I Have My Clothes Back
Not a proper comic, but a doodle I made for class today. Apparently Victor Hugo would write in nude and have his valet hide his clothes so that he couldn't leave the house until he was finished writing for the day.

Squirrels are complicated
Why's it so impossible to pronounce in every single language (except for Japanese)? Is it as weird-sounding in other languages too?

Accidents
So many of the best things in life have been accidents, including learning French. It was really convenient because we just happened to move to France a few years later. R also ended up spending quite a while in South America, so it all worked out well.

Frenchy
Yikes! Past (way past) midnight--again! I had to go to a going away dinner after my German class tonight, so I got home late. And then G and I had to battle it out on online Bananagrams, so hence the belated update.
I'm pretty much the secretary of the household so I make a lot of reservations and whatnot on the phone. I got an interesting comment the other day . . .
Is my German Frenchy-sounding? I don't think so . . .

Delicious Diagrams
I've been learning French for ** years and I didn't even know that pie charts were called "camembert" en francais. How awesome is that?
Btw, in Japanese, it's just "circle graph." Bo-o-oring! They should've called it liked...okonomiyaki chart. Or something. Anything!
