haha I never imagined that! But I admit that my computer makes some weird noises when it's hot. And actually, in Brazil is getting hotter now. I live in a particularly cold city, but we already have people cmplaining. I thought I was complaining too much, until my laptop started shutting down because it overheated (after like, 2 hours, when in the winter, it takes a whole day to overheat, when it does). Result: I have to lay on the floor with it so it can take a little longer to overheat. Not happy.
Yeah...and Berlin doesn't even get that hot, so I can't imagine what it would be like if I were living somewhere really warm! I guess I have to get a laptop stand like Tze mentioned below...!
GAHAHAHAHA I'm crying... XD That is mighty creepy. I like the choice of person, too. You should try a laptop stand, it's amazing. It does put your laptop at a certain angle, but you might find it quite pleasant, as it raises the screen (typing becomes easier, too). My laptop hasn't died once since I got one, and our living room reaches 35 degrees easily in summer.
Been a bit absent with...everything, basically, but am coming back. There's no mini booklet yet, sorry. :( I think I'll try to get it printed instead of using a copy shop actually. Anyway, I still owe you one!
Laptop stands are probably a good idea! And does it get that warm in Frankfurt? Holy smokes! We had such a pathetic "summer" here...we barely reached 30C before plummeting down again. And yes! I was wondering about your lack of updates lately! Is everything okay? No worries about the booklet---but I'll be looking forward to it! :)
That is just ever so slightly disturbing. Nevertheless, your image of the computer as a human is funny (yet creepy)! I've also had heat problems with a laptop. The trick is to get some compressed air, open up the machine and blow away all of the dust (especially on the fan). I can also recommend getting Laptop Lifts, which is simply rubber feet that elevate the laptop just enough to provide better airflow.
Also, for a second I thought the one of the labels said "bald". Yes, indeed.
