    Now THAT is Japanese upbringing. I never thought of them as unlucky either.
    Not like here. My brides' family always had black cats.

      Yeah, black cats aren't unlucky at all in Japan! (There are even companies that use black cats as their mascot.) Black cats are the cutest!
