OMG! SO WEIRD BUT SO CUTE!
i'm trying to work out how you would make that costume...
It'd probably take a while. I should start NOW.
You need to do something about the extra legs. Maybe base it a bit on this one... http://cache.gawkerassets.com/assets/images/4/2007/07/croceatdog_front.jpgThe mushroom is so cute and creepy! But so cute! Was the fabric see-through from inside?
The extra legs will be hard. But if i could ever pull it off, it would be the BEST costume. EVER! People would be so confused. "Are you a centaur?" "No, I'm a Teddytaur!" "Eh?"Btw, that photo is BRILLIANT. Too brilliant for words. I love it.As for the mushroom--I'm actually only facing down (if I stood upright you could see my face). The mushroom head was an upside-down basket that I sewed fabric onto and wore on my head (I also stuck cardboard inside it so that it would rest on my head). The beige outfit was kind of crazy because I'd basically sewn myself into the costume (I have no sewing skills) and I couldn't go to the bathroom the entire night. I also had trouble grabbing and holding onto things. But it was WORTH IT!!!! hahhahaha.
