Radler Doesn't Count

Radler is a beer mixed with sparkling lemonade (50-50), so it doesn't reeaaaally count as alcohol, does it? Ahem. Anyway, this comic is old...because G and I have long since abandoned our alcohol-free-May challenge. So much for will power. The weather's been too nice to not sit outside for a nice, cold Bierchen.

Also, I'm sure you've noticed that I'm trying to draw myself a bit differently now. I've always worn glasses but I've been too lazy to draw them, and I'm also growing out my hair -- so yes, I'm trying something new!

  1. Haha I am quite sure that "Es liegt im Auge des Betrachters". So from Germany s perspective its really safe to drink Radler on alcohol-free diet :))

    1. Thanks Bashi! I am going to apply that credo to everything...and like, wine is practically like grape juice, just a little bit fermented...you know. :P

  2. I actually saw a can of some kind of radler here in Michigan! Couldn't believe it. Big cans too. I have to find someone to share it with because you can only buy it in a six pack and my bride doesn't drink. You and "G" wanna come over and split some?

    1. No way! We'd love to try the US radler! I actually saw it in Japan this spring too! But as with Apfelschorle, instead of buying the ready-made thing, you can just mix beer and Sprite (or whatever fizzy lemonade-type drink of choice) 50-50 at home and make your own radler! That way you can adjust the sweetness/beeriness to your taste. :D
