Nadeshiko

First and foremost---congrats to the Japanese women's soccer team "Nadeshiko Japan" on their win last night! Way to kick some major ass, fair and square! They play the US in the World Cup finals on Sunday. eep!

Anywho. I'm going to visit Z and her family in Riga next week, which got me reminiscing about our roomiehood in Toronto again.

Fun!

  3. C: Yes...people falling on their butts as narrated by Bob Saget, apparently...!!

L: NO WAY! That's so random! Ours was ginormous and mounted on some kind of heavy material. We sort of had it leaned against the wall on top of our microwave (also got for free at a garage sale) the entire year....!

  4. M: You and your mama are our furniture/moving heroes! I don't know what we would have done without you guys. I think we spent about 20 dollars total on new furniture that year. THANK YOU!

  5. This is so weird about Germany! There's so much great stuff lying about and I don't even have to feel bad about nosing in the junk as everyone does it... I love it. :D Though I'm usually too lazy to go back for what I saw (while on a bus that drives past or something). Did miss a stereo tower, table football, mini pool table and awesome couch set because of my laziness (gone the next day). :'(

  6. Oh my god, mini pool table too!? That's crazy! Although there was one time I tried to take a really nice computer chair from the garbage room and there was a sign that said "DON'T TOUCH! BED BUGS!" That was nyucky.
